State Representative Toni Rose (Texas House District 110) is seeking a District Aide position in House District 110 in Southeast Dallas to support District office operations. This is a full-time, in-person position with an anticipated start date of January 2026. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the district staff in running the District Office, including managing daily operations, supervising district staff and interns, and maintaining the Representative's district schedule;
- Serve as point of contact for the district office, and maintain positive working relationships with opinion leaders and district stakeholders;
- Maintain an active presence within the community, including attending evening and weekend events;
- Staff the Representative at events in and around House District 110;
- Assist district staff in planning and hosting events in the District for constituents such as: town halls, holiday parties, supply drives, etc.;
- Support constituent casework efforts for the District Office, under the supervision of the Constituent Services Liaison;
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
- Ability to work non-traditional hours when necessary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
- Excellent team player; and
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and understanding of Dallas County/District 110;
- Experience with event planning and community engagement.
- Knowledge of local and state agencies and departments; and
- An understanding of the local and state political process.
COMPENSATION
Salary will be commensurate with experience. This position also includes full health benefits.
