Representative DeWayne Burns Announces Capitol and District Office Staff
AUSTIN -- State Representative DeWayne Burns is pleased to announce his Capitol and District Office staff. His Capitol Office will be staffed by Chief-of-Staff Joy Davis of Grandview, Legislative Director Adrianne Fore of Austin, Intern Chandler Forsythe of Cleburne and Intern Juliana Nicolini of Austin. Verlie Edwards of Fort Worth will serve as District Director.
"I am very excited to have these talented individuals working with me. Each brings unique talents to the table. We have a very strong team that will be serving District 58," Rep. Burns said.
Davis recently served as Burns' campaign manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University. Prior legislative experience includes having worked for former U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. Davis has been active in the Texas Farm Bureau and served as Chair of the Young Farmer and Rancher Advisory Committee in 2012. She is a past Valedictorian of Grandview High School.
Fore is a graduate of Pepperdine University and has previously worked for Texas Representatives Travis Clardy and Dewayne Bohac and the Rick Perry Presidential Campaign and Justice Jeff Brown Campaign.
Edwards worked with former Rep. Rob Orr and before that served as governmental affairs director for the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors. She is a graduate of the University of North Texas where she studies journalism and political science.
Forsythe and Nicolini are both undergraduate students at The University of Texas. Forsythe is a graduate of Cleburne High School.
Rep. Burns is serving his first session in the Texas House of Representatives.
