AUSTIN, TEXAS - Today, Rep. Matt Krause (Fort Worth) was named to two committees by Speaker of the Texas House Joe Straus. Rep. Krause's assignments are the County Affairs committee and the newly created Special Purpose Districts committee.

"I am extremely excited to receive my first committee assignments from Speaker Straus," said Rep. Matt Krause. "I look forward to working with my fellow committee members on limiting the growth of government, increasing efficiency, and championing local control."
